This is the tale of a fateful ship…. It’s a pier and harbour. I think one important aspect of this photo is getting the life saver and the building in the background all in one photograph. I also thought it was important to get the flags in the photograph nice and square. It uses rules of thirds. The life saver uses about 1/3 of the right side of the photograph. Ok, maybe 1/4. It’s approximate. The building and sky at the top uses about 1/3 of the top of the photograph.
